Ted is the father of four amazing kids, lives in Riverpark,
and has served as the lead pastor at First Pres Oxnard for the past 16 years.
Ted graduated college with a business degree, then adventured in the Mediterranean and studied in Israel.
After pastoring in New England, Ted served as a missionary in Zimbabwe before moving to Ventura County.
Cathy is an elder at New City Church in Los Angeles. Cathy loves how New City is like the early church – all different kinds of messed-up people worshipping together in love and unity. Cathy worked as a program director at a Christian community center before transitioning into the fund development field to work from home and raise her daughter. At past churches, she founded a single parents’ ministry, coordinated Saturday volunteer service projects around the city, managed a kitchen team that cooked the pastors’ meals on Sundays, and served on visual arts, worship, and prayer teams.
Frank serves as the Pastor of Evangelism at Church 4610 in Ventura. He came to know the Lord about twelve years ago after spending time in prison. Frank has a heart that overflows with God’s love, helping each person to feel loved by God and encouraged by the powerful ministry of the Holy Spirit. Frank’s passion is evangelism; he is particularly excited about helping people know the Lord through sharing a meal and the Lord’s love at The Collection
. Vanessa, originally from the Philippines, works as a librarian for the City of Oxnard. Vanessa has a passion for influencing the lives of teenagers.
Mario, a close friend of our leader Frank, joins Vanessa and the team to help at Common Table gatherings and to go outreach walks in city parks and at The Collection shopping center to interact with teenagers and families.
